How it works
Each price implies a probability (-110 implies 52.38%). Add them up and you get more than 100%: the extra is the book's margin, or vig.
Multiplicative scales every side down by the same factor until they add up to 100%. Power takes relatively more margin off the longshot, which is closer to how books price favorites and underdogs.
Use the fair odds from a sharp book, such as Pinnacle, as the true price. A bet elsewhere at better odds than that is +EV.
